DRN Petition Sparks EPA Action Regarding Potential Lead Contamination on Site Next to Delaware River and Residents

In response to a petition submitted by the Delaware Riverkeeper Network regarding high lead levels in the sediments of the Philadelphia Gun Club, located next to the Delaware River in Bensalem, Bucks County, PA, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency initiated in October, 2013 a preliminary assessment of the site pursuant to federal law.
