Webinar 3: Frack Waste Processing and Discharge – Thursday, January 18th
Join the Delaware River Watershed Frack Ban Campaign, represented by Delaware Riverkeeper Network and Berks Gas Truth, for a review of the Delaware River Basin Commission (DRBC) draft fracking regulations that would allow wastewater produced by fracking to be stored, processed, and discharged in the Delaware River Watershed. As illogical as it seems, the DRBC plans to ban fracking in the Watershed but still allow waste from fracking elsewhere to be imported and dumped here. We’ll examine what the draft regulation says and what the issues are with this proposed activity.
