DEP to Host Public Meeting and Hearing on Ridge Run PFC Investigation
Norristown, PA - The Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) will host a public meeting and hearing on Wednesday, July 11, 2018 to provide an update on its investigation of the Ridge Run PFC project and to receive comments on its proposed response action of whole house carbon filtration systems in East and West Rockhill townships, Bucks County.
The meeting will begin at 6:30 PM at the West Rockhill Township Building, 1028 Ridge Run, Sellersville, with an investigation update and brief question and answer session; the formal public hearing will begin after a brief intermission. Residents will have up to three minutes to provide comments on the proposed actions; time may not be relinquished to others and organizations are asked to designate one representative on their behalf. DEP will record the testimony and receive comments throughout the hearing, and will accept written comments until August 31, 2018.
