Protect our Community from Camp FIMFO

Take Action Today to protect our community and precious nature from corporate over-development like the proposed Camp FIMFO project!

For the past 17+ months, the Town of Highland Planning Board has been reviewing the submitted Final EIS for the proposed Camp FIMFO development project, which is an application to convert a traditional tent campground right next to the Upper Delaware Scenic & Recreational River into an RV & glamping resort complete with a waterpark.

Join us in reminding the Town of Highland Planning Board that we are still paying attention to this proposed project and we still SAY NO TO CAMP FIMFO! Here are some easy actions you can take to make your voice heard.

Petition for a Supplemental Environmental Impact Statement on Camp FIMFO

The Planning Board’s review of the Final EIS submission has highlighted the many ways in which the initial Draft EIS was inadequate for public comment. In light of omitted information, deficient analyses, project changes, and forthcoming expert reviews, we expect that the proposed Camp FIMFO project has and will substantially change since the public comment period.

The Town of Highland Planning Board must require the applicant to prepare a Supplemental EIS that includes all of this missing information, and then hold another public comment period so we may analyze the full scope of the proposed project.

Sign the petition calling for a Supplemental EIS below.
