Hydrogen 101 Webinar

May 29, 2024

Join us May 29 6:30pm - 7:30pm

Let’s learn the basic facts of hydrogen and the proposed MACH2 Hydrogen Hub.

Please join us Wednesday May 29 at 6:30pm for a virtual webinar session to learn all about hydrogen energy with an update on the proposed MACH2 Hydrogen Hub. Author, editor, physicist, and climate and hydrogen expert Joseph Romm from the University of PA will lead this webinar with a goal of clearing up some of the myths and mystery surrounding hydrogen and its purported usefulness as an energy source. Professor Romm’s book “The Hype about Hydrogen” will help us get real about hydrogen science and its connection with climate.

MACH2 is vying for $750 million from the U.S. Dept. of Energy to build a network of ~17 hydrogen projects in southeastern Pennsylvania, throughout the state of Delaware and south/central New Jersey. A lack of public engagement and transparency about MACH2 has been vigorously protested in the region.

An update on the proposed MACH2 hydrogen hub by DRN’s Tracy Carluccio will be followed by a question and answer session with Joe Romm and webinar participants.

Register ahead for this free webinar to delve into hydrogen and help us sort hype from reality.
