Tributary Recreation Survey

The Delaware River is fed by over 2,000 tributary streams. These tributary streams, creeks, and rivers provide opportunities for recreation for many across our Watershed. The names of the Delaware’s larger tributaries, such as the Schuylkill River in Pennsylvania or the Cooper River in New Jersey, are well known, as are the recreation opportunities they provide. Smaller tributaries, such as Shellpot Creek in Delaware or Swedes Run in New Jersey, may be less well known, but we believe that people enjoy spending time fishing or paddling along their local streams as much as they enjoy spending time on the mainstem Delaware. Are you one of these people? If so, The Delaware Riverkeeper Network would like to know where, how, and how often you get out and enjoy the Delaware’s tributaries.

Please help us by filing out our Tributary Recreation Survey. All information is helpful, but we are particularly interested in learning about water-based recreation activities taking place in the regions marked on the map below.
